On December 10th, 2020, International Centre for Higher Education Innovation Center under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI) and Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) jointly hosted Forum III of Global MOOC Conference organised by Tsinghua University and UNESCO IITE.

Titled Resource sharing for MOOCs and Global Higher Education Cooperation, this sub-forum aimed to explore innovative and effective ways of sharing quality MOOCs resources and achieving education equity worldwide. LI Ming, Director of UNESCO-ICHEI, discussed how to build an ecosystem of joint knowledge production and shared benefits for MOOCs among developing countries.

This sub-forum has shed lights on the significance of resource sharing for MOOCs, the role of global cooperation in facilitating it, as well as the opportunities and challenges for higher education brought about by COVID-19.
